Signature Rope Lead
An earthy grey ombre into the natural cotton cream.
 
Available as a clip lead or a slip lead.
 
- Made from 100% cotton rope that's been sourced from a Devon based business.
- Hand dyed by another Devon based artisan maker - Hooking Marvellous Yarns. 
- Finished with beautiful, golden brass hardware - the longest lasting pet hardware!
 
All of these aspects are then put together and made by hand in our workshop. I use self taught methods that are traditional sailmaker methods to shape the rope into a lead. The iconic B&Co colours (natural grey and cream) are excentuated with the golden brass hardware and topped off with our beautiful hand stamped brass logo tags by Handmade With Dug down in South Devon.
 
DETAILS:
(items made by hand can differ slightly in length and colour).
- Free running O-ring made into the handle for handy use.
- Brass hardware, clip has breaking strain of 180kg.
- Lead length - approx 130-140cm.
- Jute twine as whipping.
- 12mm width rope.
 
CARE:
- Hand washable - either use a wet cloth to rub away any light dirt or for a full wash, use a bowl of warm water with a gentle cleaner, e.g hand soap or a small sprinkle of washing up liquid. Leave to soak, then aggitate the water and give the dirtiest areas a rub and dirt will come away. Finally leave to dry naturally.
- Do no leave in direct sunlight for long periods! The sun is a harsh thing, it will fade any colour and weaken fibers over long periods of time in the sun, just like it would your cotton t-shirts. Taking your lead out for the day is no trouble at all, but store it away from direct sunlight when you're not using it to keep it lasting a lifetime.
